Department of International CooperationTowards the creation of the Uruguayan International Cooperation Institute (IUCI)
Cooperation and development projects are defined and coordinated through OPP, together with international aid agencies and the National Government. OPP is working to consolidate the National International Cooperation System, in the framework of the recent creation of the Uruguayan International Cooperation Institute (IUCI). This process is based on three main objectives: the development of Uruguayan capacities, the improvement of the management of international aid resources and the achievement of a greater transparency.
Within the Department of International Cooperation of OPP, the Scholarships Section is a very dinamic area and its importance is key for the achievement of medium and long term objectives regarding the education of Uruguayan citizens outside the country.
Our job is to enable people to specialize in different interest areas, based on the concept that a country’s main assets are its human resources. Please notice that scholarships in this website are only for Uruguayan citizens. |
